Designed in the deconstructivist style, beautiful angular structure that was conceived of by folding paper, an obvious reference to its use as a library, perhaps also a bird at rest. Made of glass and concrete primarily, blends well into the overall site, the colors and the feel of Doha. Its purpose is to preserve the Heritage Collection, which consists of valuable texts and manuscripts related to the Arab-Islamic civilization.
